Saturday, June 29, 2002 Neil Gaiman Is the links page to my essays on Neil Gaiman. :D Both essays are posted twice, once here under exclusive material, and again under comics....interestingly enough in the comics section it doesn't have my name. But here it does, so that's ok. :D I finished my second book! Woo-hoo! Blue Moon took me a year and a half. I think it accomplishes more than Balancing Act, in that I tried to squeeze in as much wonder and magic as possible. (And, well, this was written to stand alone. At least, unless I give into temptation in a couple of years and peek in and see how Zorovin, Rita, Alex and Libby are doing...this is more Libby and Alex's story, and Zorovin has been like, well, "I have stories, too." Also, Balancing Act is intentionally the first volume in a series. I promise to get back to a regular posting schedule, I just really decided to keep going. I'm going to try and update my book review page soon. I've done many book reviews for Mostly Fiction, and Gotta Write will soon have a bunch up, plus my debute column. SfSite also has some. My favorite review is for Neil Gaiman and Gene Wolf's "Walking Tour of the Shambles", because I used as many puns as I could get away with, all in the spirit of the book. I'm going to go read "Everything's Eventual" by Stephen King now. It's my treat, even though I'm reviewing it. His short stories work a magic on me that his longer works often don't.
